Kayaking Course on 23rd & 24th November 2011

Date: 23rd & 24th November 2011

Time: Please be at the school foyer before 9am as the bus will leave exactly at 9.

There will be a two-way transport provided.
Wet attire: Black t-shirt, school PE shorts & covered shoes(school shoes, sports shoes, etc..) You will not be allowed to kayak if you wear slippers.

Dry attire: School uniform. You are expected to wear school uniform when you come to school or else you will not be allowed to come in the school.

Things to bring: Soap and shampoo for bathing(OPTIONAL)
Towel (To wipe yourself)
Extra pair of shoes (For kayaking)
Socks
Plastic Bag (To put your wet clothes)
Money
Undergarments.

There will be no training on the 9th of April due to CCSS Speech Day.

Sec 3s, pls be reminded that the live revolver shoot for your marksman badge is on the 13th of April.
Attendance on16th of April is compulsory for all Sec 1s, for uniform sizing. Sec 3s who wish to change their uniforms, boots, etc are also be present. No other change is allowed after this.

East Spring Sec Sch 5R's competition

Our NPCC unit took part in the 5R competition held at East Spring Secondary School.

Theme: Global Landmarks/Features

Participants are required to build a structure that represent the country which their school will be attached to host during the YOG, making use of any recycling materials used in their daily lives, relating to this year's theme. Participants are also required to prepare an A3 presentation board (with picture of the structure and a few words) before the competition to present to the judges about the structure that represents the country.

Our team of 5 Sec 1 cadets came in Second Place. They have done our unit proud, well done!!

NPCC campcraft competition 2010 - Boys' Team

On Saturday, 20 Feb, the boys went to Peirce Secondary School to take part in the bi-annual campcraft competition. Despite the odds against very competitive teams, our boys did not give up and fought to their last effort. They were a little disappointed for not having been able to raise the school flag. However, their perseverance and their fighting spirit is definitely commendable.

There were a few videos but due to lack of IT skill to properly edit it, it will be uploaded at a later time. Meanwhile, enjoy the photos.
